Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa has appointed four new key personnel, underscoring their parent company Delaware North Parks & Resorts' commitment to ensuring the progressive direction of the Resort. Since assuming ownership and management of Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa in 2002, Delaware North has invested over 15 million dollars in the upgrading of the property.  Initiatives include a strong focus on the care of the guest through the GuestPath program, as well as taking significant environmental strides through the GreenPath environmental program, for which the Resort has achieved ISO14001 certification.
 
Garnett Schoettler
Executive Chef

Chef Garnett Schoettler trained under Chef Ackerman at the Central Plaza Hotel in Zurich, Switzerland, and continued his career at the Fairmont Palliser Hotel and the Fairmont Kansas City. Chef Schoettler has been appointed Executive Chef at Harrison Hot Springs Resort and Spa, and oversees three Sous Chefs and a talented brigade of 30 cooks and stewards. Chef Schoettler’s cooking philosophy is to create dining experiences by selecting the finest local ingredients and preparing them in a manner that respects their unique characteristics. A perfect fit for the Fraser Valley!
 
Danny Crowell

Danny Crowell was recently appointed as General Manager at Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa. With a background in sales and marketing, Crowell has a 30-year track record in the hotel industry with Fairmont and Westin hotel groups.  Crowell has also held the position of General Manager at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald in Edmonton and the Fairmont Kansas City at the Plaza.

Appointed Director of Human Resources, Veronica Lyver  brings her experience in HR at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald in Edmonton. Most recently Lyver was Director of Human Resources at River Cree Resort & Casino near Edmonton.
 
John Mayne

John Mayne joins Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa after 20 years running Guest Services and Front Office departments in city-centre hotels, including the Four Seasons Hotel, Vancouver, the Pan Pacific Hotel, Vancouver and The Wedgewood Hotel. Most recently John was with Raffles in the Caribbean, and the Humber Valley Resort on Canada’s Atlantic coast. Mayne oversees the Front Office, Housekeeping and is a member of the Resort’s Revenue Management team.
